Just thinking, will this attract the attention of the central govt or will they just think, these people can score this much with minimal facilities, let's cut down their supply just to suppress us from becoming too powerful!

Another observation, I always heard NE people are wanted in active service for their sincerity, honesty, agility, adaptability and all, but None has become Army Chief, Admiral, Or Air force chief as far as I know. It's also very visible that The Army chief post is reserved for Punjabis only!

    Think think!

Imphal, June 1: Making a career choice is as much important in a student’s life as choosing a life partner for an individual. Whafhe decides at this time, determines his fate and his future. So it is of utmost importance that they make the right decision and for this it is prudent that they be provided with enough options to choose from.
Understanding the hardships, students and parents face in Manipur when it comes to admission for higher studies and professional courses out of the state, an education fair is being organised on June 2 and 3 at Classic Hotel, Imphal by Fluorescence Communications in association with All Manipur Working Journalists Union and support from Manipur Skill Development Society, an undertaking of Govt. of Manipur. Fluorescence Communications is a communication agency that specialises in the education vertical with offices in New Delhi, Jaipur, Meerut, Guwahati and Imphal. APG Shimla University and Savera Group of Institutions, Gurgaon are the main sponsor and the associate sponsor of the fair respectively.
Talking about Futurescape, Hemant Sharma, Director of Fluorescence Communications said, “Our association with the education sector has given us a fair understanding of the anxiety students and their parents face when it comes to admission. We also understand the gap that exists in the demand and supply of admission seats. While the intake of students for technical and professional courses in Manipur is extremely limited, thousands of seats for these courses in myriad institutes and universities go vacant every year in many other states. Students from Manipur can easily fill them up and fullfil their dreams.
This is one of the main reasons why we are organizing this education fair.”The education fair will see a diverse set of universities, technical institutes, professional institutes and vocational centres taking part in it offering courses like MBA, MCA, B. Tech in various Engineering disciplines, M. Tech, Hotel Management, Medical, Nursing, Biotechnology and Fashion Designing, just to mention a few. The students of Manipur will greatly benefit and have many new choices which they might not have any knowledge about earlier from this fair. Since the representatives of the universitiesand institutes would be available for the whole two days, students can clarify any kinds of queries they have on a one on one basis.
Students can also look forward to special counselling from North American Manipur Association (NAMA). This popular organisation will guide students who want to pursue higher studies in the United States and other parts of the world, details about various scholarship schemes, career options in new fields and about the mentoring system they have specially for students in Manipur.
Ningthoukhongjam Lakpati, an official of Fluorescence Communications, informed, “We have been seen enough examples where students from the state are misled in the name of admission and jobs by many middlemen. With education fair like ours, we hope to end such deceitful acts by these selfish people. We will have career counsellors to guide students who are not sure about their career paths. Spot admission
is another thing we hope will attract many a student.”
For students who are preparing for Medical and IIT-JEE examinations, the fair will have representation from Aakash, India’s premier institute for Medical & Engineering entrance examinations. The institute will feature its recently launched innovative iTutor programme where the whole course revolves around a Tablet PC given as a part of study material to every student.
To mark the opening of Futurescape, Fluorescence Communications will felicitate Mohammad Ismat, the wonder boy who has done the state proud along with other state toppers. Mohammad Ismat will be awarded with an Apple iPad and a cash award of Rs.21,000. The rest of the toppers will receive cash, awards. Incidentally Aakash Institute, who has recently launched their tablet course programme are the sponsors of the Apple iPad for Ismat.”
